The book I’m reading is Allah – A Christian Response by Miroslav Volf, a Croatian theologian currently the Henry B. Wright Professor of Theology at Yale Divinity School. It was Erin Grayson (now at Yale), who put us on to it and Stephen and I will be exploring and discussing it together. We try and keep a theological book on the go and give time to meet together to reflect on it. Its dedication to his father highlights its central theme: To my father, a Pentecostal minister who admired Muslims and taught me as a boy that they worship the same God as we do. |
