Reader Training – Grief Matters
 Reader Training resumed on Wednesday 26th when we were reflecting on Grief Matters- Learning to cope with lossand funerals. I realized that funerals are no longer such a regular part of my ministry – In my previous parish 40 each year was usual. For much of the session we used an excellent DVD by Dr Bill Webster. I have had reference to his material on bereavement for twenty years and eventually went to a seminar run by him organized by the local funeral directors in my previous parish, where I bought this excellent teaching material.
It was lovely to welcome other than Readers in training for this session and there was interest in following a fuller course on bereavement perhaps early in 2013. |
