 After an excellent final rehearsal the previous Saturday, it was clear that the congregation was going to be in for a treat on the Friday at the Family Service, and so it proved.  It was a lovely blend of young people and adults working together. The biggest surprise of the morning was Jon Lavelle in his Elvis/ Pharoah costume, so all of us will now see Jon in a new light.
 Leading the prayers of intercession following the presentation and picking up themes from the Joseph story made me aware of how contemporary a story Joseph is: family jealousy, breakdown and eventual reconciliation, human trafficking, false accusation and injustice, imprisonment, and the need for wisdom among those in power being some of the themes to weave into prayer. Congratulations to all who took part and who contributed to making it such a memorable experience.
