An Evening with George Herbert
Our Living Room Dialogue, the last before the summer took a rather different shape with an evening exploring the poetry and hymns of George Herbert. We first listened to a few minutes BBC programme Start the Week with the author of a recent new biography of George Herbert – John Drury being interviewed Andrew Marr on poet George Herbert, Start the Week – BBC ... We sang several of George Herbert’s hymns and a few people had brought poems that they had researched and shared.
