The Story of the Passion: Palm Sunday
 On Friday morning and Sunday evening we had a retelling of the Passion Story beginning from Jesus entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. We used the excellent Lion Bible for Children as the text, written by the playwright Murray Watts.I was encouraged by several people taking parts in it who had not done so before and who did really well to bring the characters in the story alive. They reallyheld the congregation’s attention on both occasions and several people said that they were moved by the experience. We finished by playing Pie Jesus from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Requiem. |
