Ethiopian Orthodox Wedding
 We were woken at 5.45am by singing, not unusual on a Sunday morning but this was Saturday and there was an unmistakeable exuberance about it. The Ethiopian Orthodox community were up early to celebrate three weddings and by the time  I had got back from Awali at 11.30am they were still going strong – they have an amazing stamina and, as you can see, it was a very crowded and colourful occasion! |
