 The Marathon Relay, a terrific charity event organized by the Round Table, took place starting and finishing down at the BIC. Once again Paul Hamilton did a great job organizing the team and it was good to meet the remnants of the Holy Strollers team down at the BIC after they’d completed the course. There was a friendly rivalry (not least in the Cathedral Office) between Saar Fellowship’s Blaze Runners and ourselves, so it was good to hear that we had beaten them by one place and one minute. It reminded me of some very competitive games of football between the churches in Hong Kong competing for the Hallelujah Cup, some of the most competitive being the clergy themselves! |
