 Tricia was attending the Diocesan Spirituality Group and I was attending my first meeting of Bishop’s Council and Standing committee, having been elected at the February Synod. It is a relatively small group and addresses its business very purposefully and having worked hard on the Monday went out for and amazing meal at a local Cypriot restaurant which served, among many other dishes, sheep’s brains and very small snails…well I had to try everything. Having finished on Tuesday midday we all went out for Fish and Chips at the Sovereign Base, a little bit of England held by the Armed services. The flight back got in at 0245 on Wednesday and Francis very kindly collected me. |
