 Following the Confirmation Bishop Michael met with the growing group of Tamil-speakers who have been coming to the English language services. He gave his full encouragement and endorsement to the plan to begin a Tamil language service in the cathedral as part of the St Christopher’s community. They presented him with a shawl as a sign of honour and everyone seemed delighted that Stephen will be taking pastoral responsibility for this growing community, though recognizing that his priority commitment is to the work of Mission to Seafarers’ Chaplain in the ports of Bahrain. |
