 The final concert before the summer break appropriately brought the Manama String Quartet, who started the concerts with a one-off programme last year back to the cathedral. This time Lis Holman was cellist with Larry Barcelos on clarinet for the Mozart Clarinet Quintet and Erika Nottingham Rawles (soprano) singing Mozart’s Laudate Dominum. The Cathedral Concerts have been one of the positive developments of our life and have contributed significantly to the cultural life of Bahrain and providing a forum for musicians to play and audiences to listen to beautiful music. |
