Handel –Sonato No 2 and Largo- and the trio will play two pieces composed by Ahmed Al Ghanem: Samaee Ghanem, which was performed as a world premiere in St Christopher’s Cathedral in 2014, and Intedhar (Waiting), performed in November last year in Tromso Cathedral, Norway to great acclaim. Other pieces will be by composers as diverse as Dvorak, Faure, Massente, Gluck, Marhoon and Yamada. It promises to be a feast of music.
