 We had a lovely lunch at the Japanese Ambassador’s residence with the Monday women’s group and spouses, which Tomoko has been a faithful member of over their time in Bahrain. They have a beautiful home with a very spacious living room and we also had the opportunity of seeing Shigeki’s train set in action, which he had built himself and as clearly his pride and joy.  The food was exquisite and at the conclusion of the meal the chef came out and received our thanks. So we didn’t all bring chocolates and flowers we combined together to give them some framed photographs on canvas of some Bahrain scenes. |
