 After Saturday’s final service of the summer at Awali- we now close down for the hot holiday summer months of July and August – I joined the Federation of Expatriate Associations lunch at the Alumni Club in Adliya, somewhere I had not been before. You could have been in Rome or Athens! There was a great mix of nationalities present and as well as a speech of welcome from Betsy Mathieson, Dr Hassan Fakhro, the Minister of Industry and Commerce thanked the expatriate community for the great contribution it made to Bahrain. |
