 One of the joys of being part of a Church family is that linkage with people all over the world. As we had to reveal our dates of birth for the British Embassy Garden party, I happened to notice that Geoff Thomas who, with his wife Jean, winter for three months in Bahrain with their daughter had an eightieth birthday very soon, so we were able to send a suitable e-card. They kindly sent a picture of their celebrations in Majorca and said: Some Spanish friends of ours were at the next table and were celebrating their mother’s 100th birthday so I felt quite young! Don’t worry I didn’t make a note of everyone’s birth date! |
