| Last Friday Ricardo joined us at our morning service for the first time having recently come to Bahrain and moved into an apartment. He asked me if I would come and bless his home so on Saturday afternoon, escaping a day long powercut in the Cathedral compound, armed with my New Zealand Prayer Book, which of all contemporary Anglican liturgical resources I have found very often to be both the most useful and the most attractively presented, I went round to his new home. We went from room to room reading an appropriate Scripture, saying a prayer and a blessing.
We could all pray that for our homes and families. |
