 It’s always encouraging when new groups emerge in the life of the church and when a group grows from 4 in the first week to 16 in the second that is especially so. Jill Laping has launched a choir in preparation for the Nine Lessons and Carols on Sunday 21st December. We are aiming to sing two carols, but as those attending have suggested it would be good to continue in the New Year, perhaps preparing for a choral evensong. The choir looks as though it has a good balance of soprano, alto, tenor and bass voices. |
