 Although I constantly emphasize that we are an international Anglican community at the Cathedral, this means we can celebrate the life of many nations, so I have committed the Cathedral’s involvement in Great British Week in January 2014 and to two things in particular: A Celebration of great British Music (day to be confirmed as the original date clashes with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) and a Songs of Praise involving members of the British Community in Bahrain. I attended a meeting today to hear of the growing ambitious plans for this week. It clearly has a momentum building up. |
