 Our final Wednesday night, but I hope that they will continue through August, was a meal at our local Indian vegetarian restaurant Vrindavan returning to the Deanery for desserts and to watch The Help on DVD. I remembered that we’d shown it to TGIF, but forgotten that we’d shown it last summer previously, but there seem to be many who were happy to see it again and the Wednesday night summer group is made up of several who are relatively new to the Cathedral family. It is a very powerful film and certainly isn’t just a piece of American social history, but is powerfully relevant to Bahrain and to many parts of the world. |
